Stop moving into the unknown

Tenants and buyers have had almost no visibility into how a property was treated by previous residents, or how the owner treated them. Mass Address changes that.

The old way

  • No record of mold, pests or deferred maintenance
  • Bad landlords leave no paper trail for the next tenant
  • Hotels get reviewed by guests; permanent addresses stay silent
  • Credit checks exist for people, nothing comparable for properties

The Mass Address way

  • Search any validated U.S. street address
  • Read reviews from confirmed previous renters, buyers and tenants
  • Leave a permanent rating and review of your own
  • Owners face a real, rising cost to make bad reviews disappear

Everything you need before you sign

The transparency of public reviews and the accountability of a credit report, applied directly to addresses.

Search any address

Type a street address and land on its page. Addresses are standardized so every review for a building ends up in one place.

Real resident reviews

Every review comes from a confirmed account and carries a 1 to 5 star rating. Posts are permanent and cannot be edited.

Buildings and units together

Apartments and suites share their building's page. Reviewers can add a unit label so you know which door they mean.

The accountability engine

Removing a review costs money.
And the price doubles every time.

Anyone may pay to remove a review. No proof of ownership is asked for. What makes it work is the price: each address keeps its own removal history, and every paid removal doubles the next fee at that address, forever.

  1. 1A previous renter or buyer posts a review with a star rating.
  2. 2Someone pays the current fee for that address to remove it.
  3. 3The review disappears from the page and the next fee doubles.

Payment establishes neither ownership nor whether a review was accurate. A pattern of removals becomes prohibitively expensive.

Fee sequence per address

1st removal$5
2nd removal$10
3rd removal$20
4th removal$40

Shared by every unit at the address. It never resets, even when the owner changes.
